3-7 Weeks

We have been having SO much fun with this little guy! Here are some pictures of him taken in the last few weeks, and a few of his favorite things!

Johnson got to spend the weekend at Grandma Ruth's while Mom and Dad celebrated our 5th anniversary!  We took this picture moments after we arrived in Highland.  He was obviously so excited to see her!

We think he looks more and more like Uncle Chris each day!

 He still likes to snuggle on shoulders and sleep.  I hope he doesn't grow out of this for a while because it is my absolute favorite thing!

 He got this little hand made yellow sweater from our Danish cousin, Bente.  He wore it to his first time at church! (Izzy wanted her picture taken too)

 He loves watching John play video games.  He always tries to turn his head to see.  Future gamer on our hands!

 He is also a great shopper!

 Prepping for school was really difficult this year.  Luckily his cuteness makes up for the extra stress it put on me!

 Sundays at my parents' usually ends up like this.

 

We sure love our little bub!  He is getting to be more and more fun all the time!  He is starting to smile and "talk" more and we can't get enough!

2 Weeks

Johnson is now 2 weeks old! (Almost 3)  He is changing SO much that I really wanted to get some pictures of him when he still kind of looks like a newborn.  My photographer sister/brother in law went out of town today so I attempted to take a few of my own.  Little J was only slightly cooperative :) (the ones where he looks like he is trying to escape are actually my favorites)

We sure love our little stinker.  He definitely sleeps better during the day than at night, but luckily I'm not working yet so we have a few weeks to help him straighten out his schedule.  He LOVES his binky with attached monkey and to be held in the burping position. He is spending more time awake each day which we are loving.  When he is awake he likes to wiggle or lay on his playmat (Luna loves this too).  He has now met ALL of his Ballam aunts and uncles, but so far only his Aunt Bridget has made it up for a visit on the Blair side.  It was fun for all 3 of us to have her!  Every night he starts off in his bassinet but ends up with Mom and Dad by about 6 AM (Anything to make him stop crying at that point!)

One Week!

Yesterday Johnson turned one week old! Where did the time go?! We are so in love with this baby boy!  He is a great eater and sleeper during the day and only gives us a little run for our money at night. He started rolling from his back to his side on day 5 and the first time we tried tummy time on day 6 he rolled straight onto his back!  He is super strong and it is hard to hold him when he is squirmy! We love this little bub!
