This summer was crazy busy for both John and I. Now that the operas are over I have had a chance to clean our apartment. And I mean CLEAN. I scrubbed every inch and even cleaned all of the carpets in the last 3 days while John is at work. I am now envious of my mom's steam vac, after seeing how great our carpets look! Anyway, I also had a chance to do a couple of crafts. Since we have virtually no cupboard space in our bathroom or bedroom for me to store necklaces without them getting tangled, I made a little necklace hanger to put on the wall. (I still haven't put all of my necklaces on it since they are stored in different places throughout the apartment)
I also made some fabric wall hangings for our spare bedroom. Since we can't paint, and most of the photos from our wedding are unframed, the blank walls have been driving me crazy. This was my little solution. I eventually want to hang one of our large photos right in the middle of them, but we'll see if I get around to it. :)
That's about it! John and I are planning on doing something exciting this weekend..we just have to figure out what! :)
